Can Money Buy your Happiness?
The word for some
people is not true, but I personally think that word is quite appropriate to
describe the current state of money that can "buy" one's happiness.
This is so because some happiness can be realized or presented with a
supportive money. Adequate money can bring a person's happiness because of the
sense of security, satisfaction, and sufficiency to meet their basic needs. But
money can not be generalized can buy a happiness. Money is not everything, but
money can create happiness.
I can not say that
people who have a lot of money are the happiest, or say that the poor are the
most unhappy in the world. Speaking of happiness then it will be closely
related to the physical, the heart, and the human mind. There is a part in the
fulfillment of human needs that can be fulfilled by having a lot of money, but
there are also elements in the human body that are not met simply because it
has money. For example money can buy happiness that a child will be happy with
enough food and good school, but because the condition of his family that can
be categorized in the economy that less child can be categorized as an unhappy
child. When a person comes in possession of "excess" money and helps
people who do not have excess money, it may indirectly give or make happiness
to others the happiness of the assisted person.
Being happy does not
necessarily mean money, nor how money can "buy" happiness, yet from
another perspective it can be said that money can help create happiness for
either yourself or others. Trying to play back the question above about how can
money buy happiness? What if I turn back then becomes whether happiness is
bought with money? Or is happiness money?
In a while I once read a story about how
a little boy trying to collect his pocket money to buy a very busy father's
time? Then do you think the story depicts the father of evil and does not think
about the condition of the child ?. I think the father is not entirely wrong,
because the father works hard to realize the happiness of the child by trying
to meet the needs of the child. But the father forgets that sometimes there are
parts that can not necessarily be filled with money or sufficiency, because
happiness is not only physically shaped but it feels more deep and abstract.
Therefore the question can money buy
happiness in my opinion is yes. By being grateful for what you have gained
right now, and feeling enough for what has been given. Money can save and
create other happiness. Imagine how many people will be helped by donations or
"money" donations that are then made into the manufacture and
maintenance of infrastructure, the provision of clean water, free education,
and a decent living for others. Money is important but not everything.
